Atriums & Loggias
Having installed beautiful conservatories for many years it was a natural step to introduce
these “living rooms” which combine all of the obvious benefits of a Conservatory with
the ceiling and lighting of an extension. offering simply the best of both worlds.
This range enables you to build an extension without building regulation requirement and
in most cases avoiding the need for planning permission.
For those wanting style with a flat roof element all round, to create what some call an
Atrium roof, the Orangery is the perfect option. You can choose from a version with
either masonry parapet walls or with a fascia perimeter. Either way you can enjoy the
light from a Conservatory with the feel of an extension creating a whole new dynamic
to the space with a real “Living room” feel. You can maintain light and space by using
windows all round or include brick piers to create a sense of even greater solidity.
This “Living room” feel means more styling and furnishing options and the perimeter ceiling
is perfect for down lighting.
For those looking for incredible thermal efficiency with Italian styling look no further
than the Loggia range. Combining the very best of British building efficiency with
a generous helping of Italian inspiration the Loggia is quite simply a revelation. It
combines elements of light and sky with the solidity of corner columns possessing real
inner core strength, plus internal plastered walls and ceilings to create a “real room” feel.
The Loggia columns are super-insulated with a core of Styropor carbon enriched EPS,
giving you exceptional insulation and combining this with our A Rated Upvs frames
these really are built for all year round use. I can even triple glaze the frames meaning
that on a four column Loggia you can expect heating costs of less than half that of a
Conservatory and on a seven column Loggia the running cost are reduced by almost two
thirds. So they not only look fantastic but they offer a real opportunity of building an
efficient extension with a far lower price tag.
All of the orangeries are now available with solid roofs.
